This page explains how you can request deletion of your Pawcode account and the personal data associated with it, in line with Google Play's Data deletion requirements.
What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently delete:
- Your account and profile (email address, name)
- Pet photos you uploaded for analysis
- Analysis cases, reports, and results
- Usage and activity history
What we retain, and why
A small amount of data is retained even after deletion, for legal and accounting reasons:
- Anonymised financial/billing records — retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations. These records no longer contain your name, email, or any data that identifies you personally.
- A record that a consent or deletion request was made and processed — kept as evidence of our legal basis for processing, without the underlying personal data.
How to request deletion
In the app (instant)
Open the Pawcode app and go to Settings → Delete account. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
Web request (if you've deleted the app)
If you no longer have the app installed, use the form below to request deletion of your account and data. We will process your request within 30 days.
